EAPN Sweden works for
- a general wellfare policy that includes all, complete with focused actions for groups with special needs
- active social services that rest on democratic and equitable principles.
- right to an education and work or other meaningfull occupation.
- a social housing policy that counteract homelessness.
Furthermore there should be participation in these matters. Exclusion is a breeding ground for many of the social problems existing.
EAPN Sweden works for a better society for all
Organisations and assoiciations working in the social field makes extensive and important work. Work against poverty and social exclusion should therefor include support and efforts to work made by these organisations.
EAPN thinks that NGOs have important knowledge to contribute to social policy. Poverty and social exclusion are important matters that must not be forgotten.
